Do VEX Gift Cards have an expiry date?
Yes, like many such prepaid products VEX Gift Cards have an expiry date after which time the value on the Card is removed. In the case of the VEX Gift Card this is 3 years from the point that the VEX Gift Card was purchased. The date of issue is shown on the display card issued with a physical order; on the digital version the expiry date is displayed alongside the long number and can be viewed when making a balance enquiry.
Please note: the 3 year expiry date referred to above relates to the amount of time available to use the VEX Gift Card and exchange for Retailer Gift Cards or eGifts. Once exchanged, these Retailer Gift Cards or eGifts have their own expiry date which varies between Retailers. So for instance, if you have a VEX Gift Card you could use this any time up until 3 years from when it was purchased. Perhaps you exchange for a Selfridges eGift with its own 2 year expiry date to spend the eGift within Selfridges which would provide a further 2 years to use. Other products, e.g Marks & Spencer gift cards have no expiry date so can be used at any time in the future.
